Visit the Lismore Regional Gallery
The Lismore Regional Gallery in the heart of Lismore City is a must-visit for anyone. This modern gallery hosts a dynamic program of contemporary art exhibitions, workshops, and events and showcases local and national artists.
Adjacent to the Gallery is The Quad; a beautiful outdoor green space, a gathering place for community, a superb location for cultural events, a place to picnic, let the kids run free, or to take a break, park the bike and explore.
Play in a Park
Lismore is a city shaded in green. Its beautiful parks and playgrounds provide a sanctuary for rest, relaxation, and plenty of family fun.
Located right in the city centre on Molesworth Street is Heritage Park. Set against a backdrop of lush, subtropical rainforest, it’s a family paradise. Ride the train, cool off in the water park, and scale new heights in the modern playgrounds. Plus, this park has swings, many swings, to swing the day away. It’s only 950 metres from the Lismore Railway Station.
Nesbitt Park is connected to the Lismore to Bentley Rail Trail via a shared path. It features wheelchair and disability-accessible playground equipment, exercise equipment, barbecues, sporting fields, and a 1km walking/jogging track. It also has a newly opened mountain bike skills track, a great space for beginner to intermediate riders to learn mountain biking skills.
